The Fitnah of Social Media

Insha Allah our next talk in the mosque will take place this SUNDAY (18TH SEPTEMBER) after the Dhuhr prayer (2pm) Our speaker insha Allah for the talk will be Ustadh Hilal (Khateeb at Masjid at Tawheed, Hyde) Title: THE FITNAH OF SOCIAL MEDIA In this day and age, Alhamdulillah we have been blessed with many forms of communication. This communication ranges from calling, texting, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. The list goes on and on. As Muslims we can choose to make these communications halal. For example, to connect with friends, family and with brothers and sisters from all over the world. We can also choose to make it a pathway to haraam. Insha Allah by attending this lecture we will learn about the evils that results when misusing social media, and also how can a Muslim benefit from social media. A TALK NOT TO BE MISSED….
